Rebekah Massey

Rebekah Massey has been dancing since the age of three. She started her dancing career at Eileen’s Academy of Dance in Fairless Hills, PA where she studied ballet, pointe, and tap. While attending Moravian College, where she studied Elementary Education and Psychology, Rebekah continued her love for dance with her membership to the MC Dancers for four years. There she studied jazz, lyrical, and tap and was the president of the organization during her senior year. From 1996 to 2000, Rebekah was an employee in the entertainment department of Sesame Place where she performed not only at Sesame Place, but also at Sea World as the character Bert. After getting married and moving to Doylestown, Rebekah began teaching tap and jazz. She currently lives in Doylestown with her husband and their three children.

Meredith Matarese

Meredith began dancing at the age of three. She has taken lessons in all areas of dance and participated in various competitions and conventions. As her college years approached Meredith decided to follow her passion and continue her education in dance at Penn State University. Throughout college she taught at numerous studios in the area. Meredith worked under Dr. Kathryn Kearns, her dance professor, at the New Jersey Governors School. She also worked for Faces of the Future talent competitions as well as at the Banana Factory in Bethlehem and at various performing arts school including Downtown Performing Arts Center. Upon graduating Meredith continued teaching dance as well as becoming the manager for a large local dance school.

When the opportunity to own a dance centre arose Meredith saw this as the perfect opportunity. It has always been her dream to share the gift of dance while creating a nurturing environment to learn and grow.

Jessica Formica Miles

Jessica Formica Miles is a "jack of all trades". From classical ballet to hip hop, jazz musical theater, Mrs. Miles has a very diverse background. She has toured the United States as a backup dancer for Gigi Leung and Jimmy Lin, produced by the New Melody Inc., and was in a music video with recording artist Benny Segal. Stage and TV appearances include "Expeditions and Encounter" and "Rise of Arturo Uri", both choreographed by Marlena Yannetti, Boscov & Channel 10 Thanksgiving Day parades, MTV Dancers College Dance Tour and Eagle Cheerleaders special Half-time performance. She was a part of the first Boston Celtics Dance Team and coach for Statewide Junior Pro Eagle Cheerleaders. In addition, she was a company member of the Northeast Philadelphia ballet Theater Company and Another Goes Company, located in Boston. Local musical theater productions include "Anything Goes", and "Into the Woods". She graduated from Emerson College, Boston MA, with a BFA in dance and film. While in school she had the opportunity to be in works featured in the American College Dance Festival. She has also studied dance at the Philadelphia's University of the Arts, Broadway Dance Studio in New York City and currently takes classes at Koresh Dance School to further her knowledge and her craft. Mrs. Miles has a passion for dance and for the ability to pass her knowledge to her students.

Kim Pultro

Kim Pulto has been teaching dance in the New Jersey/Pennsylvania area for 20 years. She grew up dancing in Kansas City, KS, at the Hill-Top Studio and then headed to Los Angeles to major in theater and dance and Loyola Marymount University. Kim also continued to study jazz, tap, ballet and acrobatics from several amazing teachers across the country including Michael Peters in Los Angeles, Gus Giordano in Chicago, and Charles Kelley in New York City.

As a performer, Kim traveled to Reno, Tahoe, Las Vegas, Maui, Toronto and Japan to dance in numerous night club revues and industrial shows before heading to New York City. Some of her regional musical theater credits include: “Can Can” starring Yvonne DeCarlo, “NO, No, Nanette” starring Carol Lawrence, “Anything Goes” starring Leslie Uggams, and “Uptown, It’s Hot!” with Mauruce Hines.

On Broadway, Kim appeared in the revival of “Take Me Along” and toured for 2 years with the national company of “Sugar Babies” starring Anne Miller and Mickey Rooney. She was also a featured dancer in “Bob Hope’s 80th Birthday” TV special, performing with Ann Jillian and backing up Flip Wilson as “Geraldine”.

As a teacher, Kim loves sharing her knowledge of dance and performance. She’s especially passionate about passing along the art of tap and keeping it alive in today’s dance world. Kim has a lovely husband, Mike and two teenage sons Tate and Tyler – none of whom dance! Being surrounded by guys at home, she really enjoys her time at the studio with the girls!

Skate

SKATE, a dancer/choreographer and skateboarder is one of the dance industry’s most promising new talents. The styles of dance in which he performs and instructs include, Breaking, Freestyle, Street Jazz, and Hip Hop. He is known for his ability to fuse various styles together creating an elixir of techniques and complex moves that demands the attention from his audience.

SKATE began taking a strong interest in dance at the age of 15, it was during this time he discovered his gift and purpose. He made a conscious decision to nurture his talent by training at some the most highly respected dance studios in the United States, including Millennium Dance Complex in Los Angeles and New York’s Broadway Dance Theatre. Now 10 years later, SKATE has accomplished making a strong presence in the industry performing across the country and reaching international audiences, as well as teaching various levels and age groups.

Melissa Matarese

Melissa is a certified yoga instructor offering both group and private lessons in Vinyasa yoga. Melissa has practiced and studied yoga for over 10 years in places such as New Zealand, Maine, California and Philadelphia. Her desire to share her passion for yoga keeps her classes both fresh and challenging.

Besides teaching yoga Melissa is a practicing fine artist by trade and runs a small creative business, Mesa Enterprises focusing on graphic and apparel design.
